After the official opening of Forum Duisburg, Multi Development is now working on a second downtown retail project in the metropolis on the Ruhr river, an extensive redesign of the Galeria Duisburg, to be renamed “Königsgalerie”.
With the development of the area between Sonnenwall and the Steinsche Gasse street front, which includes the Galeria itself, Multi is aiming to create an attractive transitional space between Königstrasse and Sonnenwall.
The façade of the future Königsgalerie will feature a glass front, through which daylight will stream. The new look of the Königsgalerie on the Steinsche Gasse street front will give the retail property an extravagant flair. The interior will also be dominated by a flowing structure. Like the ground floor, the upper floor will offer visitors a circular area in which to stroll around.
The Köningsgalerie's exclusive ambience will inspire enthusiasm and will create the ideal area for high value, famous brand name stores.
The Königsgalerie will have a total surface area of about 16,500 m² for retail and gastronomy divided over two levels.

Mit einer umfänglichen Umgestaltung der Galeria Duisburg zur Königsgalerie nimmt Multi Development nach der Eröffnung des Forum Duisburg den Bau eines zweiten innerstädtischen Einzelhandelsprojektes in der Ruhrmetropole in Angriff. Die Fassade der künftigen Königsgalerie wird von einer gläsernen Front geprägt sein, wodurch viel Tageslicht einfallen kann. Die neue Umkleidung der Königsgalerie zur Steinschen Gasse verleiht der Einzelhandelsimmobilie ein extravagantes Flair. Im Inneren werden ebenfalls fließende Strukturen dominieren. Die obere Etage wird Besuchern gleichfalls wie im Erdgeschoss einen Rundlauf bieten.
